I got him these for his birthday, he is a 29” waist, and they weren’t available, so I sized up to a 30” waist… they run true to size, so they’re a little big to surf in, but is wearing them out. These shorts have great stretch, and are well made! I’m always on the lookout for the 22” boardies."
