Ili Lim wins Alt Games Female Champion in San Diego

The shores of San Diego, CA were rumbling with excitement as 56 college students from all over the nation - and the world - flocked to Wave House to compete in the Alt Games Flowboarding Championships on Saturday, May 14th.

This year’s Alt Games saw it’s largest number of international participants with riders from Singapore, Holland, Chile and South Africa joining the America students to fight for the title of Alt Games Champion. After two days of fierce competition, the Semi, Quarter and Final rounds of the Flowboarding competition drew a huge, enthusiastic crowd. The consolation round had set the pace for the day as the top 16 athletes prepared for their heats. Billabong Flow Team Alfian Affandi and Ili Lim from Singapore, made it to the Semi Finals and Ili, the only female rider to make it to the Semis, claimed the position of the highest placed female and took home the title of Alt Games Female Champion.
