It's that time of the year again when temperatures drop, winter swells start coming through and groms from around the country come together to compete at the Billabong Grommet Games. The event has always and will continue to serve as a platform for young surfers to develop their competitive skills and for future surfing talent to be identified.
The 2016 Grom Games will take place in Port Elizabeth and will be attended by teams from various regions in the country. Groms can look forward to talks by Billabong rider and big wave charger Matthew Bromley and holder of a Guiness World Record, Josh Enslin at the opening function on the 22nd of March. The event officially opens with a parade on the 23rd and runs until the 27th of March.
