The oldest of Hawaiian legend Tony Moniz s boys, Isaiah is making more and more like dad every day. Last year, among other accomplishments, Isaiah walked away with a win at the Kewalo s GromSearch, a win in Boys 10 to 12-year-old longboard division of the Rell Sunn Menehune Surf Contest, as well as a third place finish at the Bragger s Cup on the South Shorea team event in which Isaiah, Joshua, Seth and Tony joined forces to do battle against some of Hawaii s premier surfers. In 2006 Isaiah finished 16th in the Hawaiian Open Boys division, and considering how much of a family affair surfing is for the Moniz clan, the sky s the limit.
