The youngest of the Moniz boys, it seems that Seth has inherited a knack for competing. Steeped in Hawaiian tradition, the youngster s capable of winning on any type of surfcraft. In 2004 he won the Boys 7 to 9-year-old longboard division of the Rell Sunn Menehune Surf Contest, and later in 2006 he won the Menehune division of Andy and Bruce Irons Pinetrees Classic. Spending almost every day in the water on Oahu s south shore has made him a versatile, not to mention stylish, surfer. These days he s mixing it up on the Hawaiian NSSA circuit, and will undoubtedly keep the family name alive.
