Billabong Ante Up Snowboard is back for the 2nd year with a TTR World Tour event taking place Canada Day, July 1st, 2011 at Whistler Blackcomb at the top of the Whistler Village Gondola near the Roundhouse Lodge. The day will feature the marquee kick off 5* TTR Snowboard World Tour Men’s event of the 2011-12 tour year, with thrity (30) of the world's top snowboarders competing for $50,000 in cash.
The event is open to all ages. There will be food and a beer garden (must be 19+ tp enter) available for everyone from snowboard enthusiasts, and friends and families to come check out all the Canada Day action and entertainment.
The event site can be accessed via the Whistler Village Gondola, or via the Wizard Express/Solar Coaster Chairs (via the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola). Event entry includes a Whistler Blackcomb PEAK 2 PEAK Alpine Experience ticket and full event access to all the snowboarding and music performances.
