Cole Takes the East Coast Championships!
 
The NSSA East Coast Championships finished at Sebastian Inlet, Florida
yesterday (4/11/10) in fun, chest high surf. Cole Richards was crowned
the Open Men's champ after taking out Evan Geiselman in the last 15
seconds of the final. Geiselman led the entire final until Richards took
off on a left and bashed two back side turns earning him a 7.1. With 15
seconds remaining and Richards needing a 6.4, he takes off on a right
and three turns later he gets the score. Cam Richards had a great event
as well winning the Explorer Boys, 2nd in Open Jrs and 2nd in the air
show.  Pat Schmidt also had a run getting 4th in Open Jrs, 4th in the
air show and 6th in the Explorer Men's finals.
