Ana’s love for surfing started in front of the waves of Hendaye (France). She began surfing at 8 years old, and since that time she trains every week with Yvon Martinez (bodyboard french champion) to get good results to the many local surfing contests that she takes part into.

After only 4 years of surfing, the talentuous girl already got promising results.

Ana entered the Billabong team last year. Wether at school or in the water, her results show how rigourous, invested and persevering Ana is. For sure Ana will bring a lot of titles to the Billabong team !

When did you start surfing ?
I started surfing at Hendaye Bidasoa Surf Club with Yvon Martinez when I was 8 years old. I grew up just in front of Hendaye’s beach and I spent all day in the water !

Favorite spot ?
La digue (hendaye), Lafitenia, Gros (St Sébastien-Espagne)

Favorite music ?
Reggae, Rock, Jack Johnson

Any hobby when you’re not surfing ?
Music, I play violoncello, friends

What’s the best thing about surfing ?
Surfing with friends, try new tricks.

Favorite surfer ?
Andy irons and Stephanie Gilmore

A word that describes you ?
Persevering

Any specific training ?
I train everyday at school (Ana just entered the French Pôle Espoir) and on the week ends as much as possible.

Favorite trick ?
Roller

What inspires you ?
Girls with a fast and radical surf

Best surftrip ?
I did not travel that much yet, I’ve just been to Biscaye for contests and to Marocco last winter.

Favorite meal ?
Strawberries !!

What’s the weirdest thing that happened to you ?
Last winter, I surfed with a seal in Hendaye !

What would you like to be in a second life ?
A wave ...
