These days a bona fide star for her appearance in the big screen hit Blue Crush, this beautiful Hawaiian local is as comfortable and gifted in the water as she is in front of a camera. She can’t choose between the two of them: “I discovered that I get a rush from acting, sort of similar to the one I get from surfing” says Sanoe. “Surfing is more of an adrenaline rush and more of my own personal vibe. Acting is a different thing altogether…but I like them both”.
Surfing remains her true passion, she acknowledges not to be able to stay away from the ocean for too long. “I’d go crazy”. That’s why whenever Sanoe has a break from acting you can bet she will disappear from the rat race of Los Angeles to go surfing in Indonesia or Fiji.
As the author of “Surfer Girl”, Sanoe expresses her passion for the ocean and surfing. She loves surfing for its lifestyle, travels, and challenge you get from it. She’s full of spunk and adventure and hates being told she “has” to do anything. She’s a very positive and fun-loving person who gets her inspiration from family, friends and religious beliefs. She is a firm believer that life is about taking chances and is adamant about living each day to the fullest.
