ASP WOMEN'S 6 STAR EVENT

The Estoril Surf & Music Billabong Girls is the 2nd out of 4 events in Europe with a 6 Star status.
Top female surfers like Tyler Wright (AUS), Sofia Mulanovich (PER), Courtney Conlogue (USA), Pauline Ado (FR) and Laura Enever (AUS) will be vying for the 35,000 USD prize money and battling for valuable points to secure a position for next year's ASP Women’s World Title Series (WWT).
From the 10th to 12th June, Estoril will be hosting for another year running the ASP Women's 6 Star Event, during one of the biggest female events in Europe: the Estoril Surf & Music Billabong Girls 2011.
Bafureira's amazing point break, which has seen Sally Fitzgibbons – the current women's world title ranking nº2 – win for two times in a row in the past at this event, will be this years ’one to watch’ to win for a 3rd time.
Improving on last year's event, Estoril Surf & Music Billabong Girls will launch the European Women's Surfing Trophy. This ‘Team-Competition’ with modified rules for non-professional surfers from all European countries is expected to attract a high number of female participants.
In addition to the surf contest, the festival will include an Opening Party on June 9th at the Casino Estoril – one of the most emblematic places in Estoril – with the musical line-up to include great Portuguese bands, musicians and Dj's.
And on June 11th, the ‘INJOY Energie Dance’ will get everyone together for a dance activity on the beach at sunset.
