Today in Rio, Sally Fitzgibbons met Coco Ho in a dramatic Billabong Pro Rio Final heat finish. Sally surfed with high energy and got busy while Coco looked for the best possible wave selection Barra de Tijuca could offer.
Sally pulled ahead for the win with a 14.10 heat total sitting. Coco sat just behind her with a painfully close heat total of 14.03. But Coco really found her rhythm today. This Billabong Pro Rio event is her best result and it jumps her up to #9 spot in the rankings. It was an exciting heat, with outstanding performances from both 21-year-old Billabong Pro Rio finalists.
