At the leading edge of the white hot UK wake scene Connor Jones has been making a serious splash out of the Princes Club just west of London since a young teenager. The 2008 Boys European champion has a fairly simple plan for world domination, adding a huge work ethic to his pure talent. “I train six days a week, and wakeboard everyday for at least three hours,” says Jones. “And then afterwards I go to the gym.” The hardwork is paying off with Jones a perennial UK standout and now making his presence felt on the European and international stage. His goal now he says is, “To get inspiration from the best riders and learn new stuff all the time.” With his work ethic and talent, for Connor Jones learning stuff isn’t a problem.
