Szebasztian “Szebi” Szolath is Hungarian wakeboarding prodigy, a man on a mission and a true stylist of the sport. Szebasztian started riding in Siofok, Hungary but got serious at his now home park of Dunaharaszti. From an early age it was clear he had extraordinary talent and by the time he was 16 he was traveling the world hitting the sickest cableparks and winning a slew of junior events, twice becoming the WWA world junior champion.

His philosophy is to shred life and while he traces his parents as a major inspiration, it is wakeboarding that has given him, and his unique talents, the canvas to build a career and progress a sport. “I always push myself to learn the newest tricks,” says Szebi, “but at the end of the day, it’s still all about jibbin’ and having fun.”

Having fun isn’t a problem for this wake star, his talent, smarts and attitude driving him to the very pinnacle of the sport and sending him to the far reaches of the planet as he seeks adventure and thrills. In 2012 and only 19 years of age Szebi is operating at full throttle and aiming for the stars.
