Billabong organise de janvier à avril 2008 un grand concours européen de graphisme au sein de son opération Design For Humanity, concept ajoutant une perspective humanitaire à une création artistique. Billabong a ainsi invité trois artistes européens Blami (Espagne), Jean Michel Tixier (France) et Andy Ward (UK) à participer au projet. Chacun d’entre eux à designé un t-shirt qui sera vendu en série limitée « Arty Serie » cet été au profit de l’association Surfaid. Devenez le créateur du quatrième t-shirt de cette collection unique et généreuse !
Le concept est simple : téléchargez le pdf « Patron » ci-dessous et créez votre propre t-shirt. Peinture, dessin, collage, bombes à peinture, marqueurs, encre à tatouage…Tout est possible. Inspirez vous des mots clés de Design For Humanity : Unite, Imagine, Love, Surf, Live, React et Save. Laissez libre cours à votre imagination et exprimez votre créativité afin de créer le nouveau t-shirt Billabong « Arty Serie. ». Une partie des ventes du t-shirt gagnant sera reversée à SurfAid International. A gagner : un trip à Hossegor pour rencontrer l’équipe design de Billabong ainsi qu’une garde robe. Les 6 finalistes gagneront une tenue Billabong.
