Billabong is stoked to announce that Tony Sruntul is now Billabong South East Asia’s Skate Team and Events Coordinator.

“To be trusted by Billabong and managing their absolutely amazing South East Asia Skate Team is a real honor for me,” said Tony. “I love being a part of it, skateboarding is my life and I will make sure that Billabong and the skate team riders be the best they can be.”

Tony Sruntul was one of the original Indonesian skate boarders and has made a name for himself over the years with countless competition wins and magazine appearances. He really is a figure to look up to in Indonesia's budding skate scene - always on the frontline of the earliest skate events, including the Kuta Karnival and numerous BASE events. The two time Skater of The Year joined Billabong all the way back in 2001, and he's still not done yet.

“Tony is one of the most respected skaters in all of SE Asia”, said Peter Thew, Billabong South East Asia Marketing Manager. “He has been an important part of the skate scene for such a long time now and we’re ridiculously happy to see him move in to a role that will see him help with further progression of the skate industry in our region.”
