TEAHUPOO FIRES FOR THE TRIALS OF THE BILLABONG PRO TAHITI

It is rare when an event's Trials are as exciting as the main event. But with a break like Teahupoo the Trials might as well be the main event with chargers from all over the world flocking to Tahiti for a chance at the Billabong Pro Tahiti Crown.

Local charger Tuamata Puhetini came out on top after many rounds of incredible barrels. And Nathan Hedge finished runner-up to earn a wildcard for the main event for the second year in a row.

Below, are the pictures that tell the story of just how good it was.
