These few months have been great! Since the Summer Holidays is now over, I recently started school again, and I have to say waking up at 6 in the morning everyday is not very fun. My summer was pretty good so I didn’t mind going back and catching up with all my friends. I landed three tricks over the summer, the roll to blind, KGB, and got my toe-side 720s back.
Towards the end of August, I went up to Busan, Korea, for the IWWF Wakeboard World Championships, where I did not do too well as I messed up on my semi-finals run, falling on tricks that I would normally have on lock, causing me to get knocked out. However, with a 24 hour stop over in Japan I managed to eat some amazing ramen at Ichiran, and some sushi!
In the beginning of this month (September) I had another competition the SWWF wake fest in Singapore in which I did very well, placing first and my team mate Padiwat Jeamjam (bomb) coming second and Aye Tatsanai finishing in third. During my finals run not only did I stick a full pass with all the tricks I wanted to, I also stuck a backside 720 for my wild card trick. Since it was my first time ever actually trying the backside 720 behind the boat, with the fact I managed to land it made me very happy and stocked.
That pretty much wraps up the past couple of months for me and with another competition coming up in the end of this month, in Jakarta (the Asian Championships). I’ll be back with more experiences and stories to share!
