One of the few things most people don’t know about me is that before I picked up the art of flowboarding, I was a pretty passionate skimboarder! I was usually seen at the beach shreading the shore breaks even if the swells are flat.
However, over the years, as work commitment grew at Wave House, Sentosa, I slowly drifted away from the sport but caught on to Flowboarding. To be honest, skimboarding has always been at the back of my mind, and it was rather fitting that just a couple of weeks ago, I was called into a session by my old skimboarding pals for a gathering! We had a great time teaching some younger kids how to skimboard and even gave them a couple of tips on how to prepare themselves on a competition level!
Stay tuned for my next update on a cross over session in Wave House Sentosa! In the meanwhile, enjoy the pictures!
